I knew "Nick" (as we called him) in those days of 1960-61 aboard USS Northampton (CC-1) in Norfolk, Virginia. We often went ashore together in such idyllic places as Curacao and Haiti. We also were aboard ship during the Bay of Pigs event of 1961. Fond memories of those days. I knew he was in the telephone booth business.

Wendy, Mindy and family,
I am so sad to hear the news of John's passing. I have many wonderful memories of John and the entire Nekoranec family when you all lived in that great old house on the hill. He was always so much fun and an amazing dad. My sincerest condolences.
