Joseph Richard Menfi passed away on Saturday, October 08, 2011. Born April 07, 1931in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Sam and Julia Menfi. Joseph was predeceased by his brother John and wife Nancy Menfi.
Mr. Menfi was a member of Knights of Columbus, the Army National Guard (Fighting 69th) in NY and a loving husband and father. Mr. Menfi is survived by his wife, Frances; son, Richard (Debra) Menfi; daughter, Regina (Joseph) Leone; grandchildren, Brian Leone, Andrew Menfi and a great grandchild, Elijah Leone. Mass will be held for Joseph on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. Michael Church in Garden City, SC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Michael Church Building Fund.Grand Strand Funeral Service and Crematory are serving the family; please sign our guestbook on line at grandstrandfuneralhome.net.
