Dear McIver Family,
Words can not express the sadness I feel for the loss of my piano teacher, mentor, and friend. During my childhood and throughout my adult life, Ms. McIver has inspired me in so many ways. I believe her encouragement and guidance throughout the years has led me to where I am today.
I know God is delighted to have her as one of his angels in heaven, because she was definitely an angel here on earth. She will truly be missed. I love you all, and may God bless you and keep you during this difficult time. Know that God is with you and so am I.

Mr. Mack, Kevin, Keith, Leslie, and Pam:
We are very sorry for your loss and know that you are grief strickened. Please try to focus on her wonderful legacy. A loving wife, musician, educator, minister, friend and neighbor. You and Mrs. McIver have been in my life personally since 7th grade. Years later, my first born, Robin, was introduced to music by Ms. McIver, a few years later, my nephew Eric was introduced to music, AND a few years later, my neice Kimberly. Our lives are certainly richer because we got to know her. Remember that she is only away. There will be a family reunion. God Bless you.

Dear McIver Family,
I was shocked to hear of the passing of Mrs. McIver. She was such a wonderful and dear person. My fondest memories of elementary school are of music classes with her. I will always remember Who Stole the Cookies From the Cookie Jar and the way she would sway back and forth, clapping her hands, smiling and laughing. I don't think I ever saw her when she wasn't smiling. She always had a hug for me-as a child and as an adult. She will be deeply missed, but the joy that she brought to me and to so many other children will always remain in our hearts. Please know that my prayers and my family's prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Sincerly,
Buffy Massy Smith

Being the former Grants-Special Projects Coordinator for the City of Conway, I had the pleasure to meet and chat with Mrs. McIver on several occasions via her husband's dedicated work as a former Conway Councilman and a Board Member of Smith-Jones Community-Recreational Center. It was obvious that she was a special and talented lady that will be dearly missed. Councilman McIver would always speak very highly of his lovely wife that he loved very much. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the funeral. However, during these sad times, my thoughts and prayers are with the family. God bless.

Mr. McIver,
This is definitely a shock. I was just thinking of you and Mrs. McIver last week. I remember just as if it was yesterday, how you two would come into the shoe store where I worked during my stay in the area and how we'd chat and enjoy each others conversation. It's going to take a lot of getting use to, seeing one without the other. May God strenghten you during your time of bereavement. I will definitely keep you and the family in my prayers.
