Nicholas Teresi Obituary

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. | Dr. Nicholas P. Teresi, 90, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2004, at Albany County Residential Health Care Center in New York. He was born in Batavia, N.Y., a son of the late Charles and Nina Lojacono Teresi.



Dr. Teresi practiced in industrial and occupational medicine in the Albany area from 1945 to 2003. Most recently, being associated with the Riverfront Medical Services in Colonie. He was a consultant in medicine at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, N.Y.; a member of the department of medicine at Albany Memorial Hospital; a clinical assistant in medicine at Albany Medical Center; a former associate examining physician for the workers' compensation committee of the Albany County Medical Society; a former member of the board of directors for The Workshop in Menands, N.Y., and Albany YMCA; the former medical director for the Tobin Packing Co. in Albany; and, a former examining physician for the New York Central System. He was a communicant of Historic Church of St. Mary's Albany as well as a longtime member of Wolfert's Roost Country Club, where he was active in the R.O.B.'s.



Dr. Teresi is survived by many family members including his sister, Janet (Stanley) Telga of Murrells Inlet; and a niece, Teresa (Scott) Shaw of Myrtle Beach.



Dr. Teresi was laid to rest at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, N.Y.
