To the family of Russell,
Free a last. He's free of pain and illness. Waiting for us when we have that glorious reunion. Remember we'll have eternity with him and other beloved family and friends.
May you feel God's love and may it give you strength as you face each day without him.

To the Family: Russell was one of the kindest, compassionate person I have ever known. He was always the perfect friend to all who he came in contact with. He and my husband became great friends sometime ago. He was always kind to everyone. Age didn't matter. Russell will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Karen, we are so sad over the loss of Russell. It is so hard to believe this is has happened. I remember all the times Russell called to check on Ellison not knowing he would be called to his heavenly home so soon. We have been good friends for many years and we will miss him. We will see you soon.

Dear Friends,
We grieve at the news of Russell's death. He and all of you have been in our prayers since learning of his illness, trusting that God would supply all each of you needed to meet the demanding challenges that each day brought. Our thoughts go all the way back to KHS - good friends, good times, good memories. Russell was the best man at our wedding 47 years ago. Russell was one we always looked forward to seeing again at KHS reunions. For his faithful life, his caring, professional service to those he served, for his courageous battle with his own illness and for God's merciful deliverance from his pain and suffering - we give God thanks. Karen, Gretchen, Heather and Russ, Please know that all of you are in our prayers. Russell was so devoted to the families that he has helped over the years. I will always remember how he stood by us during the loss of our loved ones. My mother thought he was the greatest, and he was. I was so touched when he was at the church in June for her funeral and I will never forget that. Truly, he will be missed, I know by all of you, and also by the City of Georgetown. May the Lord give you the strength you will need and walk by your side each day. God Bless you all.

Dear Karen and Family,
I can't tell you how sad I am to learn of Russel's death. He meant so much to me and my family when it was such a sad time after their deaths. He helped bury four of my immediate family and many friends. Russel always knew the right things to say to make it a little easier during that emotional time. Georgetown will miss him as much as your family. He was that kind of person. He never met a stranger.
Just wanted you to know my thougts and prayers are with you and your family. May it comfort you to know there are so many who are thinking of you at this time.

Karen, Gretchen, Heather and Rus. Words cannot express what I have always thought of Russel. He was so caring and knew the exact words or actions as he treated people who had lost a loved one. He was a devoted husband, father , grandfather, Christian and an exceptional Funeral Director. I guess I have known Russel since you, Karen , and he were married. He has always been a dear friend and would help anyone. I know that he, Everett and Violet are all happy to be with our Lord and will be waiting for us all to get there. I know that Chalmers thought the world of Russel. God is so good in seeing us through times like this. Continue to rely on Him. And God bless each of you. Nell
