Ryan Larson Obituary

Ryan Larson
May 18, 1991 - August 24, 2015
Little River, SC.
Ryan Charles Larson, 24, passed away unexpectedly from complications with his T1 diabetes, August 24, 2015 at his home.
He was born May 18, 1991 in Towson, MD.
Ryan was the brightness in everyone's day. He always knew how to make someone smile. He cared about others with everything he had. Ryan loved Jesus and desired nothing more than for those, especially those he loved, to come to know Christ. Ryan became a photographer to follow in his Mom's footsteps – and was unbelievably amazing in his skill. Ryan was a very gifted and talented drummer. He loved being out on the water, wakeboarding, or out on his skateboard. He loved to fish and hunt. He loved his family more than words can even begin to express. Ryan touched the lives of so many people in such positive ways that he will live on forever.
Survivors include his Dad and Mom, Bob and Hope Larson of Little River, SC (formerly of Perry Hall, MD); two brothers, his little 'bro' Jacob Larson of Little River and his "big brother" James Larson and his fiancé, Becca Brunner of Perry Hall, MD; maternal grandparents, Rev. James H. and Mrs. Helen Lane (Mom-Mom & Pop-Pop) of Baltimore, MD and paternal grandparents, Lowell C. and Barbara L. Larson (Nana and Papa) of Bloomington, MN and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and more friends than could ever all be named.
The family will receive friends at McMillan-Small Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday, August 27 and 28, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
Funeral services will 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 29, 2015 at NewSpring Church, 3001 Waccamaw Blvd, Myrtle Beach. There will be a wake following the service at Beach Church, 557 George Bishop Pkwy, Myrtle Beach, SC
In lieu of flowers, a memorial box for donations will be at the funeral home and church for NewSpring Gauntlet Scholarships. Gauntlet is a youth event held each year and Ryan loved being a part of this event. For those unable to attend, memorials can be mailed to: Ryan Larson Memorial, c/o Coastal Studios, 1301 48th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
An online guestbook is available at www.msfh.net.

I met Ryan last Sun pm on the beach, he was taking photo of a family and I offered to let him get in the picture. He noticed my Christ United tee shirt and said I used to attend there and go to New Spring now. He told me Hayden Dunn was his friend. Today when I was telling Hayedn I had met him, he told me Ryan had died!! I am so very sorry, I could just see the love of Christ in that young man.He was letting HIS light shine on the beach last Sunday about dark. Glad I had a chance to meet him briefly this side of heaven. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
