I am very sorry to hear of your loss. God has a plan for all of us and it was time for him to go and be with the lord. Though there is a great sadness in parting with someone so dear to your heart, may you find comfort in the thought that your loved one is now in a place of peace.

I, too am related to Stephen and lived on a farm in the Mullins area . My grandfather, Ira McCormick and Uncle Lawrence McCormick, Stephen father were brothers. I spoke to Stephen on the phone when my brother, Gaddy McCormick, Jr passed away. I was unable to attend Gaddy's funeral. My husband Ron was in the hospital in ICU, during that time and passed away Jan. 18, 2002. So I know the pain you are going through.

May god bless and be with you and you. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Mickey
