Vincent Riedinger Obituary

MYRTLE BEACH | Vincent Thomas Riedinger, 81, of Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht Club, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his home.

Born in Hackettstown, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Frank and Maude Riedinger.

Mr. Riedinger was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the American Legion in Hackettstown and the NARFE. He had retired in 1985 after 36 years of service from the Department of Army at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, N.J.

Mr. Riedinger was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of the Joyce Kilmer Council, Knights of Columbus at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hackettstown.

Surviving are his wife, Joan Teets Riedinger; son, Richard Riedinger and wife, Margie, of Myrtle Beach; daughter, Caren Riedinger and husband, Lawrence Kimble, of Myrtle Beach; sister, Diane Jones and husband, Ron, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and grandchildren, Eric, Laura and Ryan.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel.
