Beverly Reid Obituary

Beverly Ann Anderson Reid
Born: June 25, 1932
Died: July 12, 2021
Beverly was born in Streator, Illinois to Hazel Marie Weber and John Duncan Anderson. She attended St Paul's Lutheran Church and graduated from Streator HS in 1950. She was best known for her gymnastic and dance routines with the circus and at state and county fairs as well as cheerleading at Streator HS. After High School she moved to Chicago to dance at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. She always loved being from Streator. One of her greatest joys was attending class reunions and connecting with friends and family.
She moved to California in 1952 where she met Peter A Reid her husband of 53 years. They had a daughter, Carolyn Jean Reid. She enjoyed 40 wonderful years in California with family and many friends.
In 1992, Beverly and Peter moved to Tucson, Arizona and enjoyed 20 years of new friends and experiences.
In 2011, they moved to Colorado to be close to their daughter, Carolyn Reid Howey, son-in-law Bob Howey and their 2 grandsons Reid and Bryan Howey. Beverly did a great job of getting involved volunteering with several organizations.
Beverly loved God, life, her family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She always had a pocket angel to give to someone.
