Died: May 26, 2025 in Ottawa, IL
Blaine W. Flesher, 93, of Florida, formerly of Ottawa, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the Pavilion of Ottawa.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Mueller Funeral Home, Ottawa with Rev Seamus Enright, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Ottawa officiating. Burial will be private at Oakwood Memorial Park, Ottawa with full military rites. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
Blaine was born on November 18, 1931 in Paradise, MO to Roy E. and Goldie E. (Lucas) Flesher. Blaine was a Veteran of the US Air Force. He married Patricia (Hoskinson) Robinson on June 14, 1974 in East Peoria, IL. Blaine worked for the National Weather Service for 36 years, until his retirement in 1987.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; one son, David Flesher; step-children, Timothy Robinson, and Toni Frederick; five grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his son-in-law, Michael McDermott; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one step-daughter, Tabrina McDermott; one brother, Donald Flesher; and one sister, Naomi Dale.
