Born: August 21, 1942 in Streator, IL.
Died: September 8, 2024 in Streator, IL.
Catherine Linda Tutko, 82, of Streator passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Arc at Streator.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 12th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Thursday, September 12th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.
She was born August 21, 1942 in Streator. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy (Ron) Schmitt of Streator; a son, Jim (Ashley) Tutko of Streator; a granddaughter, Presley Tutko of Streator; a brother, John (Pat) Mushinsky of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a special friend and neighbor, Pat Byrd; her 3 grand dogs; nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Sandra Svec, Verna Von Ruden and Barbara Blatner; and a brother, Michael Walzer.
She was raised in Kewanee and attended Kewanee Schools and High School.
She worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company for over 30 years until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.
Through the years she enjoyed gardening, cooking, painting, wallpapering and babysitting her grand dogs. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had a special place in her heart for her granddaughter, Presley. She will be dearly missed.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
