Born: January 4, 1936 in Streator, IL
Died: November 2, 2024 in Streator, IL
Ralph Olesen, 88 of Streator passed away Saturday evening (November 2, 2024) at his home.
Ralph was born on January 4, 1936, in Streator to Christian and Mae (Dovin) Olesen. He married Bernice Burrow on June 22, 1956. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2021.
Surviving are, son Ralph Michael Olesen of Streator, granddaughters, Lindsay (Cory Bradbury) Shepard and Elisha Murray, great-grandchildren, Makayla, Peyton and Cole.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Julie Murray, siblings, Nels, James and Ole Olesen, Florence Legare, Ann Dutko, Grace McMillin and Carolyn Mays.
Ralph was a US Marine Veteran and was formerly employed at Transco and retired as a carpenter.
Following cremation, there will be no services. The Winterrowd Funeral home assisted the family with arrangements.
