Died: September 22, 2022 in Aurora, MO
Richard E. "Rick" Mitchell, 69, of Aurora, MO passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born to Wilbur and Ann (Siebert) Mitchell on September 7, 1953. He was a retired minister of 32 years and a teacher for 27 years.
Survivors include his wife, Eula; three sons, Jesse Mitchell of North Myrtle Beach, SC., Matthew Mitchell of Ottawa, IL. and Sammy Mitchell of Seneca, IL.; four daughters, Kristina Mitchell of Galesburg, IL, Samara Mitchell of Aurora, MO., Ebony Mitchell of Paris, CA. and Destiny Mitchell of Aurora, MO.; two brothers, Steve Grosso of Morris, IL and Alan Mitchell of Seneca, IL.; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Kathy Brooks.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 10:00 o'clock at First United Methodist Church, 117 W Lincoln St, Seneca, IL.

Eula and Family,
Words are hard to express the sadness you must be going through. Rick was a kind and witty person. The JH staff always enjoyed his puns and the plays he directed. He will be sadly be missed. May God bless.
