Steven Robert Weck, 42, of Largo, Florida, passed away on October 12, 2023. He was a happy, fun, and loving person who enjoyed cooking and making his grandmother Joan's famous coffee cake. Steve is survived by his wife Samantha (Schutte) Weck, his father Pete Weck III, his mother Kayla (Bretag) Weck, his brother Pete Weck IV, his sister Kristina Weck, his mother-in-law Connie Schutte, his brother-in-laws Jon and Jeff Schutte, his sister-in-law Janie Schutte, his niece Brianna, his nephew Blake, and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Kaye and Joan Bretag, Pete and Doris Weck, his father-in-law Jon Schutte, his uncle Steve Bretag, his cousin Christopher Bretag, and his aunt Maureen Wahl.
Steve was self-employed, owning Weck's Lawn & Tree Care. He took great pride in his work and was known for being a hard worker. In his free time, Steve enjoyed the outdoors and loved boating, fishing, lobstering, crabbing, scalloping and Hunting. He was also a fan of the Tampa Bay Rays, Buccaneers, and Lightning.
A private Mass will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:00 am at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, Florida. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Harbor Master Tiki Grille in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family for a memorial in Steve's memory.
