Born: October 27, 1966 in Streator, IL
Died: August 3, 2025 in Ottawa, IL
Tony Allen Turner, 58 of Streator and the Leonore area passed away Sunday morning (August 3, 2025) at the Pavilion of Ottawa.
Following cremation, a visitation will be held Sunday (Aug. 10th) from 3 – 6 P.M. at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with services to be held at 6P.M.
Tony was born on October 27, 1966, in Streator to Terry and Heidi (Schulz) Turner. He married Debra Viti on October 31, 2021, she survives.
Also surviving are step children Tony Joseph (Angie) Benstine and Brent (Mallory) Benstine, grandchildren, Cody, Jolene, Brianna, Wyatt, Brodie and Melodie, siblings, Terry-Jo (Jim) Burns of Leonore, Helene (Frank) Caruso of Mendota, Russell (Delores) Turner of Ransom and Penny (Bruce) Bertsche of Gilbert, AZ, aunt Marcia Whipple, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents, mother and father-in-law and uncle.
Tony was a truck driver for Calkins Trucking, Theis Trucking and Paynes Trucking and mechanic at Hombaker Automotive. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, building things, riding his Harley Motorcycle, fishing. Tony had the biggest heart, he loved his family and would do anything for you day or night.
Memorials may be made to his family.
