67 David R. Rochefort of Ayer

AYER: David R. Rochefort, 67, of Ayer, formerly of Lexington, died Monday, December 22, 2025 at University of Massachusetts – Memorial Hospital, Worcester following a brief illness.

David was born in Galion, Ohio, September 23, 1958 a son of Robert R. Rochefort and the late Claudette M. (Corriveau) Rochefort and moved to Quincy as a child. He was a 1976 graduate of Weymouth South High School and continued his education at Embry – Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida.

He resided in Lexington for over twenty years before moving to Ayer in 2019.

For over 20 years Dave worked as a technician at Proctor & Gamble Company in South Boston, retiring in May of this year.

Dave was an avid skier and avid mountain biker. It has been said that Dave had all the best qualities of a great dog. He was loyal, gentle, friendly, comforting, forgiving, and a great companion. He loved unconditionally, he lived in the moment, he found joy in simple things, he was kind without judgement, he appreciated his loved ones and he was always happy to see you.

You will be greatly missed my honey. Let it snow!

In addition to his father of Bridgewater, he leaves his wife of 31 years, Suzanne (Lentini) Rochefort; his son, Ryan J. Driscoll of North Conway, NH; his sister, Diane M. Johnson of Peterborough, NH. He also leaves many beloved family members and friends.

Dave's family will receive relatives and friends at calling hours from 2-5 PM Sunday, December 28, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte 2A) Ayer.
