William Schaefer of Ayer Obituary
William was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, April 27, 1959, a son of the late Donald F. Schaefer, Sr., and Lillian M. (Mulvihill) Schaefer and was a 1977 graduate of Ayer High School.
Following his graduation from high school, William enlisted and served in the United States Navy.
He had worked as a warehouse worker at the Gillette Distribution Center at Devens.
He leaves his brother, Donald F. Schaefer, Jr. of Ayer; his sister and brother in law, Mary C. and Craig Erban of Leominster; two nephews, Gerald Herrmann, Benjamin Herrmann; two nieces, Shannon Schaefer and Justine Herrmann; three great nieces, Norah Herrmann, Vivian Herrmann and Eliza Herrmann; one great nephew, Chase LaVoie.
Committal prayers will be held privately at St. Mary's Cemetery, Ayer.
