A.B. Edwards Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
AB was of the Pentecostal faith and attended Central Pentecostal Ministries. He retired from Civil Service as a Transit Alert Foreman at Tyndall Air Force Base and a Charter member of the Callaway Masonic Lodge #369. Most of all, he was a very loving devoted husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend.
A.B. was preceded in death by his loving parents, his son Tony Edwards; his daughter Terry Sims and two brothers.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 66 amazing years, Willo Edwards: sisters, Mary Dean Walley of Pascagoula, MS, Bonnie Clark of Carriere, MS.; Daughter, Patricia Kay (Chuck) Perry of Clarkesville, Ga. Grandchildren: Joshua Robbins of Homer, Ga; Jared (Lisa) Robbins of Commerce, Ga; Amanda and Xenia De la Rocha of Odenton, MD.; Charlie (Dora) Perry of Thomasville, NC; Caroline Perry of Dawsonville, GA. Five beautiful great -great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:45 P.M., Friday, September 26, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Chad Bass officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. here at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to AB and Willo Edwards "Foreign Mission Fund" o/c Central Pentecostal Ministries; PO Box 1558, Lynn Haven, FL 32444.
Pallbearers will be Jared Robbins. Doug Bailey, Bruce Bailey, John Nunnery, Larry Grainger and David Polanka.
The family would like to give special thanks to Emerald Coast Hospital care team for the love and care given to AB during this time.
Heritage Funeral Home is honored to serve the A.B. Edwards, Jr. family.
