A. Jay "Jay" Rabinowitz

A. Jay Rabinowitz, age 90, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of Dalia (née Perelmutter) for 64 wonderful years. Among his greatest achievements was the family he cherished. Loving father of Dan (Joyce), Daphna (Paul) Ludwig, David (Nancy), and Ron (Missy). Cherished grandfather to Ila (Danny) Muller, Cayla, Rachel Ludwig (Daniel Barach), Brian, Tess Ludwig, Marni, Hannah (Caleb) Marx, Liv Ludwig, and Lindsey. Adored great-grandfather of Max and Sam Muller.Jay was a proud engineer, businessman and patent holder with an engineering degree from the University of Connecticut and master's degrees in engineering and business from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He maintained a lifelong connection to the State of Israel and instilled in his family a deep appreciation for education, family and faith. Anyone who met Jay was instantly taken by his gentle soul and genuine kindness. He had a gift for making others feel special. His sweet nature, quick wit, and caring heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed. Memorial donations in his honor to Congregation Beth Shalom's Janna Sugar Memorial Israel Scholarship Fund. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
