Maria Rabinowitz

Maria Rabinowitz Mrs. Maria Rabinowitz passed away on Tuesday April 15, 2025, at her residence at Parker Stonegate in Highland Park at the age of ninety-three.
Mrs. Rabinowitz was born in Perth Amboy and was a graduate of Douglas College. She then resided in Miami, Fords, then North Brunswick.
She was employed as a young woman by Pan-Am airlines as a stewardess. Mrs. Rabinowitz also was employed as a translator for the Mexican Social Security Ministry and at taught Spanish at Miami Senior High School. She retired from Rutgers Preparatory School in Somerset where she was employed for many years as a Spanish and French Teacher. She was also a self published author of Clouds, Rain which was a collection of her poetry.
Mrs. Rabinowitz was predeceased by her husband Morton Rabinowitz in 2017. She was also predeceased by her brother. She is survived by her stepdaughter Judy Rabinowitz and stepdaughter in law Vita Rabinowitz and longtime friends, Robert and Dorothy Parillo and her family. Funeral services are being held privately.
