Aaliyah Reann Paff, 20 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on April 7, 2024. She was born on November 17, 2003, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Felisa Popplewell & the late Joshua Paff.
Aaliyah's presence in this world was a blessing to all who knew her. She attended Thomas Carr Howe High School before graduating from Manual High School in 2022. A diligent student at Ivy Tech Community College, she maintained an exceptional 4.0 GPA both in high school and college. Aaliyah was passionate about her education and was nominated as Future Doctor of America in 2020.
Her vibrant personality brought joy to those around her. Aaliyah adored spending time with her family and had a special bond with her brothers, Drayden & Jaylen. She was known for her infectious smile and mischievous sense of humor – often playing light-hearted pranks on her loved ones. She had a passion for music and enjoyed dancing to its rhythm. A dedicated individual who worked tirelessly for her dreams, she was recognized for her kindness and generosity towards others – always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Aaliyah held a love for long car rides and volleyball which added much color to her life. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Aaliyah is survived by her beloved mother; Felisa Popplewell, her dear siblings; Tori Bell, Jaylen Paff, Ciara Rivera, Drayden Sweazey, Cali Baugher, and Cole Baugher. She was a cherished granddaughter to Patricia Ewing, Ramon Rivera, and Shelley Paff. Aaliyah's memory will also be held dearly by her aunts; Tecey, Crystal, Gabrielle, and Markeita, as well as her uncle John, along with Godparents; Angie & Jason Spencer, Godchildren; Kyrie & Avaya, cousins; Keinashia & Alexia, and best friend; Leslie, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Aaliyah is preceded in death by her father; Joshua Paff, brother; Joshua Popplewell, grandfather; Mark Hall, and great-grandparents; Ray & Evelyn Spencer, Dolores Helm, James Hall Jr. and Doyle Popplewell.
Services to honor and celebrate the beautiful life of Aaliyah Reann Paff will be held at O’Riley - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227) on April 19th for visitation from at 4:00 PM-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on April 20th in the funeral home at 11:00 AM, followed by burial at New Crown Cemetery.
