My first memory of Aaron was the first day of his freshman year. He took a seat next to my desk. I remember this tall yet lanky young man with a contagious smile who I was able to immediately strike up a conversation with. It was easy and full of laughs. That was the beginning of a very special connection with Aaron not only as a student but as young man. Those conversations and smiles continued for four years and our student/teacher relationship turned into what felt like and extension to my family and that has lasted since his graduation. He brightened my days and gave me purpose as a teacher. My heart is broken for a young talented young man gone too soon, for the loss of my bud, and for his family. I was blessed beyond words to have had such a stellar young man cross my path.
