Aaron K. Hyneman, 98, of Hazelton, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Good Samaritan Home and Rehabilitative Center, surrounded by his loving family. Aaron was born on January 23, 1926, in Hazleton, Indiana to Ada (Grubb) and Farris Hyneman.
Aaron graduated high school from Hazelton school. He is a WWII Veteran. He retired after 20 years at Old Ben 2 and was a member of the UMWA for 50 years. He was also a farmer in the Hazleton area. And was a member of Little Zion Church in Union.
Aaron was married to Millie (Myrick) Hyneman for many years. He was also involved with different organizations and served on many boards in Pike County during his lifetime.
Aaron is survived by his sister, Nancy Koressel; son Kent (Debbie) Hyneman, grandsons Nathan (Jill) Hyneman, Aaron Hyneman, and Zackery Green; great grandchildren, Jackie Berry, Noah Berry, Zander Green, and Olivia Green.
Aaron is preceded in death by his wife Millie (Myrick) Hyneman; parents, Ada and Farris Hyneman; brothers John and David; sister Helen Jane Ridgley and his daughter Karla Green.
Visitation will be held at Little Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Petersburg, Indiana on April 5, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm EST. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm EST with Mitch Breidenbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Little Zion Cemetery, in Petersburg, Indiana.
