Aaron LeHigh, a man known for his infectious laughter and boundless passion for life, passed away on December 30, 2024, in his hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Born on December 9, 1988, Aaron's 36 years were filled with adventure, joy, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.
Aaron was the beloved husband of Becky LeHigh, and the adoring father to his two cherished daughters, Stella LeHigh and Sofie Dipiazza. He was a devoted son to his mother, Bobbi Varaljai, and his father, Glenn LeHigh. His siblings, Samantha (Scot) Stitchick, Christian Varaljai, Rachel LeHigh, and Erika LeHigh,, shared many memories and laughter-filled moments with Aaron. His grandparents, Gary and Char McDuffee, and Terry LeHigh, held a special place in his heart, as did his step-parents, Sam and Kris Varaljai. Aaron's mother-in-law, Julie Jacamel, was yet another cherished member of his extensive family. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of friends also survive him, all of whom he loved deeply. Aaron is preceded in death by his grandmother Linda Marcusse.
An avid outdoorsman, Aaron found solace and excitement in nature. Golfing, hunting, fishing, and disc-golfing were not just hobbies for him; they were passions that he pursued with a dedication that was both inspiring and contagious. His love for gardening was evident in the vibrant sunflowers lining the yard.
Aaron's quick wit and unique sense of humor brought much laugher and provided his friends and family with many priceless memories. His laughter will echo in the hearts of those who knew him forever.
Helpful by nature, Aaron never shied away from giving those a helping hand when they needed it. Whether it was helping deliver furniture, preparing for a graduation, staining a deck, or helping a friend pick up a bunk bed, his response was always "Yes, I'll help."
He was a beacon of joy and a pillar of strength for his family, and his legacy will be cherished through the countless memories he has left behind! "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed, and very dear."- We love you, Aaron
