Obituary for Aaron Matthew Lloyd
Aaron was born on January 29, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, to Monty Lloyd and Suzanne Lloyd.
Aaron had a tremendous sense of adventure for life and wanted to experience it all. He loved and felt closest in spirit to the amazing creation and the beauty of nature. He loved camping and cooking gourmet meals outside on a campfire. He got excited about exploring new trails, hiking, and sleeping outside, even in the freezing cold.
Aaron had an extraordinary memory and was known for his encyclopedic knowledge of many topics, including his vast experience in cooking, event coordination, being certified in pyrotechnics, drone operations, website development, and consulting for restaurants in design and construction. He held the office of Elder in the LDS Church. He also had varied talents; he was a truck driver, mechanic, clown, sommelier, chef, and tinkerer (Mr. Wizard).
Aaron's love of his family was the cornerstone of his life. He loved his daughter Aaleyah beyond measure. She got to travel and have many adventures and learned to dream big with him. He loved holidays and family gatherings more than most and treasured all the funny, crazy, and sometimes dangerous adventures with his brothers. As brothers do, they could fight, but if someone messed with his brothers, he was ready to go into protective mode (even if that meant physically). He was a loving son who cared for his mother for the last several years. He was known as "fun Uncle "to many nieces and nephews. Aaron had a HUGE heart under that big and sometimes tough exterior, he loved big and was fiercely loyal as a loving Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and friend.
Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clive and Joy Lloyd, and Charles and Eileen Carey. Aaron is survived by his daughter Aaleyah Lloyd, his Mother Suzanne Lloyd and Father Monty Lloyd and wife Leigh Lloyd, his Brothers Anthony Lloyd and wife Leah Lloyd, Andrew Lloyd and wife Inga Lloyd, Anson Lloyd and wife Tara Lloyd, his Sister Kristen Bisgard and husband Adam Bisgard, and 19 Nephews / Nieces, and many Aunts Uncles, Cousins and friends, both near and far, who remembered him for his strength, joy of adventure and the unique perspective he brought to life.
May his memory continue to inspire others to dream big, take risks, live life to the fullest, and embrace people's uniqueness and love family.
He will be laid to rest at the Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to his daughter's college fund. https://gofund.me/0c97a0a9

Aaron this is such a strange day. I know you´re not here anymore and yet it can´t be. Somebody that is just so full of life and authentic till the very end. I just can´t believe you´re gone. The world is darker without you. You were a great friend and I have so many memories with you. Most of them we were cracking up or dancing. I love you and am grateful to have known you
