Aaron Wayne McDonald, born August 7, 1973, in Long Beach, California to Ronald Wayne and Terry Lynn McDonald. With careful consideration as the first paternal grandchild and keeping with family legacy. He was named after his Great Grandmother Ara Jacobs, his Grandfather Albert (Fluffy) McDonald and the first of his father's name, Ron. AARON was an only child but grew up with many of his cousins under the same roof. His early childhood started in Christian schools, and he was baptized at Christ second Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Herman Gore, Sr in 1979. He enjoyed running, football and riding dirt bikes, skateboard's and anything that had a wheel which would get him from point A to point B faster. He loved animals and often brought stray dogs, cats, birds and even a turtle home to care for them. Old McDonalds farm!! In 1984 the family relocated to Sacramento where he completed his formal education in the Florin Road school district. He was exceptionally smart and graduated early by passing his GED exam. Aaron being adventurous enlisted in the Navy, on March 17, 1992, while exploring El Centro, California. His deployment was aboard the USS America, and he fought in the gulf war, Southwest Asia, Paris, Africa, and the Mediterranean seas. (Join the Navy... See the world). He was honorably discharged and in 2023 he was diagnosed with Trans-esophageal cancer. It was thought that he was exposed while on military duty to something called "Toxic Exposure Risk Activities" while on ship. Aaron lived his life always helping others, going out of his way to assist someone and trying to make things better for others. He departed on April 1,2025 and leaves behind, his mother, Terry Lynn White of Anaheim, Calif; Brother James Knox of Anaheim, Ca.; Daughter and Best Friend, Michele Lynn McDonald of Antelope, Ca; Son Aarion Wayne McDonald of Carmichael, Ca. Long-term partner, Delana Armstrong of Carmichael, Ca, and a host of family and friends. We will miss him, but we can never forget his compassion for helping others. Amen!
