Aaron Parr Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Murrieta Valley Funeral Home on Jan. 20, 2026.
Aaron Jacob Parr-known to many as A.J.-30, passed away on January 13, 2026, in Murrieta, California. He was born on August 3, 1995, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Matthew Parr and Tina Parr.

Aaron was a beloved son, brother, friend and father whose life was marked by quiet strength, steady perseverance, and a deep capacity for love. He carried a mild demeanor and a quick, understated wit (often disarming a tense moment with a comment so unexpected it caught people off guard and left them smiling).

He knew when to joke and carried a calm confidence that made others feel at ease and truly accepted for who they were. He graduated from Lexington High School in 2014, with many accomplishments, especially on the wrestling mat.

Above all else, Aaron was devoted to his children, Christopher and Diana Parr. They were his whole world. Everything in his life revolved around them. If you stepped into his apartment, you would see it immediately: drawings and notes taped and featured on poster boards, toys scattered across the floor, small reminders everywhere of what mattered most to him. He gave every ounce of himself to being present, dependable, and loving, and his children always came first.

Aaron cared deeply for his family and friends. He showed that care through consistency, making sure to call at least one family member each day, listening, and staying true to himself. He had a way of lightening heavy moments simply with how he spoke and by changing the energy in a room without ever demanding attention.

He worked at Amazon for several years, where he earned the respect and appreciation of those around him. Aaron considered work a place where he could build connections with everyone, and he truly loved the lifelong friendships he developed there. His coworkers valued his reliability and the genuine way he treated people.

In the final months of his life, Aaron was focusing on his faith and reconnecting with his Heavenly Father. This renewed spiritual grounding brought him peace and direction, and those close to him felt the quiet strength it gave him.

Aaron's life, though far too short, was full of meaning. He loved deeply, lived sincerely, and left a lasting imprint on those who knew him. His legacy lives on most powerfully in his children and in the countless small moments of kindness, humor, and presence he shared with others.

He will be missed more than words can express and remembered with love, gratitude, and hope.

Aaron was the most genuine and kind person whose life touched more hearts than words can express. His family would be honored to welcome all family and friends to gather in love, remembrance, and celebration of the light he brought into this world.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at:
