Aaron Snook Obituary

Aaron Snook

November 12, 1983 - December 14, 2024

Goddard, Kansas - The world dimmed forever on an overcast December morning when a tragic accident took the life of Aaron Snook.

Aaron was a big man who lived a big life. His presence was felt by all who knew him, whether through family, church, business, or the community.

The epitome of a family man, his wife Meagan and children Levi, Elli, and Logan were the fuel for everything he did. No matter how busy he was, you could find a kid in tow – whether they were his own or the many he was fondly known to as 'Uncle Aaron'. There were countless cookouts, KSU tailgates, and gatherings at the barn with Aaron at the center of them all – being the welcoming host, stellar cook, and life of the party.

Stewardship guided Aaron's life and his impact will be long-lasting. His home parish was St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the causes close to his heart are too many to list. Much of his work was done behind the scenes, never looking for recognition, only wanting to serve others.

A successful businessman and entrepreneur, he was the owner of Seeders, Inc. and involved with other investments and companies. Not a man to shy away from a challenge or new experience, you never knew where he'd be when you called him. He spent much of his time fishing, traveling, attending KSU football games, and snow skiing with family every winter since 2019.

Fun loving, kindhearted, devoted family man, a friend to many and a stranger to none, he leaves an indescribable emptiness in all who knew him. Each will struggle to find a way to fill that space, but it's clear that Aaron would want it to be filled with love, laughter, and peace.

Aaron Thomas Snook was born on November 12, 1983, in Wichita, KS. He is survived by his wife, Meagan and children, Levi, Elliotte, and Logan; parents Linda & (Joe) Davison and Jim (Kim) Snook; siblings, Chris (Donna) Snook, Anna (Aaron) Kenney and large extended family.

Rosary will be 7:00 pm, Friday, December 20, 2024, Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Saturday, December 21, 2024, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 North 119th Street West, Wichita, Kansas 67235. Graveside service will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at St. Mark Cemetery, 19230 West 29th Street North, St. Mark, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School for playground, football field and other exterior improvements.
