Aaron Gage Stubbs

Aaron Gage Stubbs, 16, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, August 11, 2023, at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be 4 PM, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Blane Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until the service hour in the sanctuary on Wednesday.
Gage was born August 21, 2006, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Aaron Stubbs and Christina McClelland. He was currently a Junior at Fitzgerald High School College & Career Academy. Gage loved hunting and fishing and riding 4-wheeelers. He was an avid baseball player and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and his sisters. He enjoyed listening to music and singing.
He is survived by his parents: Aaron & Courtney Stubbs and Christina McClelland & Michael Wise, all of Fitzgerald; sisters: Lilly Stubbs and Sadie Stubbs; grandparents: Kay & Lewis Fussell, Tina Hutto, Josh & Gina McClelland, Lisa & Jeff Wise, Debbie Hobbs, and Robert & Sandy Johnson; and a great-grandfather, Noah Hutto. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive.
