Aaron was born on April 22, 1946, in Winchester, Tennessee. The son of John Nelson and Argie Mae Taylor. He departed this life on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Waters of Shelbyville in Shelbyville, Tennessee after an extended illness. He retired from Tyson Foods, Inc., in Shelbyville, Tennessee after 40 plus years of service.
He was baptized at an early age, at the Elm Street Church of Christ in Lynchburg, Tennessee. He was married to the late Betty Jo Taylor, and to this union, they had three children.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Rita Hope Whitaker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Aaron Taylor of Columbia, Tennessee, and Natalie (Jason) Maxwell of Lynchburg, Tennessee; grandchildren: Joseph Whitaker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Allata Taylor of Lynchburg, Tennessee, and D.J. Key of Centerville, Tennessee; great grandchild, Kloee Jo Khun of Lynchburg, Tennessee, brothers and sisters in law: Curly (Dorothy) Taylor, Melvin (DeWanda) Taylor, all f Dayton, Ohio, sisters and brothers in law: Brbara (L,B,)McGowan, Louise (George) Gregory, both off Lynchburg, Tennessee, Katie (Pat) Perkins of Lewisburg, Tennessee, Mary Ann Rutledge of Dayton, Ohio and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September25, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Lynchburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highview Cemetery in Lynchburg. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
