She is survived by her husband, Buddy Chittenden of Carrabelle, as well as their two sons Landon Chittenden (Angie) and Ryan Chittenden (Mandi) of Tallahassee. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her parents James Allen Stiles, Jr. and Voncile McColskey Stiles; her sister Caroline Johnston as well as her brothers, Jim Stiles and Robert Stiles.
Raised by a family of hoteliers, Gail lived in the penthouse of Tallahassee's finest: The Old Cherokee Hotel on Park Avenue. She was a wise businesswoman, a wonderful cook, and an accomplished sportswoman. She loved St. Teresa Beach and the Carrabelle River, the homebase for her numerous boating excursions with her family and dogs.
Gail will be forever remembered for her natural beauty, easy smile, and loving heart.

I am so sorry to hear about Gail's passing! She was a dear friend at Leon HS and I so enjoyed reconnecting with her at our 50th reunion. I have such fond memories of great times at the Coast, and time has never erased wonderful recollections of her kind and generous spirit. She blessed so many and I'm priveledged to count myself as one! See you in Heaven, Gail!

So very saddened to hear of Gail's death. So many fond memories of times spent with Gail at Leon and Alligator Point. My thoughts and prayers are being sent to Buddy and family members.
