Abdulahed Kesto Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mercy Funeral Home LLC on Mar. 3, 2026.
Abdulahed "Bahi" Kesto, 94, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and love.

Born in Telkepe, the cherished son of Moshe Asmar and Yousif Kesto, Bahi carried his hometown in his heart throughout his life. The values he learned there-faith, perseverance, and community-guided him in all that he did.

Bahi was the devoted husband of Kamela KasShamoun for nearly 70 beautiful years. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and hard work. Side by side, they started two businesses from the ground up, demonstrating determination, resilience, and a shared vision for their family's future.

His greatest pride and joy was his family. Bahi was a loving father to twelve children: Nidhal Kesto; the late Rajaa Odish (Mukheber); Anjel Kesto; Bashar (Amira) Kesto; Bassam Kesto; the late Iman Kesto; Kheiry (Iman) Kesto; Bushra Kesto; Sermad (Rana) Kesto; Marcia (Baher) Sitto; Salwan (Rana) Kesto; and Christine (Farris) Gumma. He was a proud grandfather to 27 grandchildren and a blessed great-grandfather to 17 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life.

Bahi dedicated his life first to God and then to his family. He was known for his generosity, humility, and tireless work ethic. A man of deep faith, he led by example, teaching his children and grandchildren the importance of prayer, integrity, and compassion. His home was always open, his guidance steady, and his love unconditional.

He will be remembered as a pillar of strength, a source of wisdom, and a man whose quiet sacrifices built a lasting foundation for generations to come. Though he will be greatly missed, his legacy lives on in the family he so dearly loved and in the faith that sustained him throughout his 94 remarkable years.
