Abel Tarin Obituary
Abel Patrick Tarin was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on March 17, 1980. His parents are Linda and Leo Barrett. Abel graduated from Hatch High School and attended New Mexico State University.
Abel Patrick Tarin worked at Sam's Club Las Cruces, New Mexico for over twenty years. Abel was loved and well known in the community of Las Cruces. He always had a smile on his face, was very direct and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He was very helpful, courteous, humble, and kind. His lively spirit was contagious. His famous saying, Hey Gurl" and his hugs were one of a kind.
Abel Patrick Tarin loved to spoil his momma with gifts, he loved to spend time with his dad, brothers, sister-in-law, and his nieces, in which he called them his "little lepes". He also enjoyed spending time with his cousins and friends. Abel's favorite time of the year was Halloween and Christmas. He loved to decorate to the extreme, but the outcome was beautiful and one of a kind and let's not forget he loved his MADONNA.
Abel Patrick Tarin, was greatly loved by everyone he will be greatly missed but NEVER forgotten.
Abel Patrick Tarin is preceded in death by his grandparents Cruz Tarin, Gloria Tarin, Grandmother, Doris Barrett, and Cousin Matthew Tarin.
Abel Patrick Tarin is survived by Leo and Linda Barrett, Brothers Dominic Tarin and Joshua Barrett, wife Candace Barrett. His nieces, Ayden Danae Lytle, Cajly Jewel Barrett, and Oaklyn Lace Barrett.

Abel was one of my accounting students at DACC right after he graduated from high school. He was a kind person who everyone liked. I always made a point to say hi when we went to Sam's and even though I called him Patrick, he always gave me a great big hug. I will miss him and think of him every time I go to Sam's

Frank and I saw Abel at Sam´s Club right before Thanksgiving. We asked about his family and as he spoke you could see and feel the love he has for them. Abel was a very kind and considerate person who genuinely cared about others. May God bless his family and all the people who loved and supported him.
