Abigail Rebecca and Bernadette Kathleen Smith, born September 14, 2025, passed away on September 25, 2025 in the arms of their loving parents Frances Albanese and A.J. Smith. They were born early, at just under 24 weeks. During their short lives, they knew and shared nothing but love and brought immense joy to those who knew them. They were true soul mates, identical twins and best friends, sharing everything from the beginning. Their days in the NICU were filled with the loving touch of their parents and nurses, reading, singing, praying, and tasting their mother’s milk. Their parents will forever remember their sweet noses and soft heads, gripping hands and suckles, their small but strong movements.
They are loved dearly and forever by their parents, grandparents (Kay and Gary Smith; Kathleen and Steve Albanese) aunts and uncles (Dale Albanese, Leslie Albanese, Christopher Maxie), great-grandmother (Rosemarie Lehane) and many cousins, great aunts and uncles, and close friends. They have shaped our hearts forever.
