Abigail Sorcic Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McNutt Funeral Home - Conroe on Oct. 12, 2022.
Abigail "Abby" Leigh Ashford of Montgomery, Texas, spread her wings to free herself from the fight with cancer and join our Lord and Savior at the age of 37 on October 11, 2022, in the comfort of her own home, in the empire that she had the pleasure of building with her little family. She was surrounded by her closest and most trusted loved ones, while God was reaching out to take her by the hand to take her home in the moments of her last breath.
She leaves behind her husband of 12 years, John McCullough; her oldest son, Mason Sorcic; her middle son, Connor McCullough; her daughter, Coraleigh McCullough; her brother, Joseph "JT" Ashford and his wife Summer Carr, their three children: Jaston, Joseph and Jaelyn Ashford; her youngest brother, Dylan Ashford; as well as her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless close friends.
Abby was born on November 1, 1984, to parents, Greg and Deana Ashford in Houston, Texas. Her family later moved to Spring, Texas where she went to school, and as an adult lived in the Conroe area. Besides her beautiful children, Abby accomplished many things in her life, including a culinary degree. Her dream was to have her own business and have family members contribute recipes that would be on her menu. Abby lived a life always full of happiness and exuded that to anyone that had the pleasure of being with her.
"Abigail when God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be found, He reached out and took you by the hand and carried you home whispering 'Come to me. 'Abby, you did not deserve what you went through, so He gave you rest. God's garden must be extravagant as He only takes the best. So, when I saw you sleeping, so peacefully and free of pain, I could not wish you back to suffer that again. You are missed and loved by everyone. I will find you. Until we meet again.
