Abraham Laiser, 89, beloved husband of Shulamith nee Zeigler for 63 years; loving father of Ornit (Steve) Mandell, Gilit, Moshe (Susanne), and Anat Laiser (Harry Mercado); cherished Saba of Kobe, Eden, Emet, Roland, Maximilian, Claudia and Noam; dear brother of Margalit (Yoram) Schechter and the late Mair (Shoshana) Laiser. The family would also like to acknowledge his caretakers for their years of devoted service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Avenues to Independence, avenuestoindependence.org. Chapel service, Thursday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park.
