Abram Levi Abernathy, age 28, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Mena, Arkansas. He was born on Friday, November 15, 1996, to Clifton Rodney Abernathy and Merry Dae Williams in Mena, Arkansas. Abram was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was outgoing, kind, and always willing to help anyone in need. He had a genuine love for people and found joy in being there for others, never hesitating to offer support or a listening ear. Abram was a true music fanatic who embraced all kinds of music and wrote lyrics nearly every day, using his talent to express his heart and connect with others. His conversations were full of life, and he made everyone feel welcome and understood. His bond with his sister, Ariel, was unshakable, and together they were a powerful, inseparable team. Abram also had a deep relationship with the Lord, loving Him with all his heart and living out his faith in everything he did. He was a kind soul whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James M. Williams Sr.; and his aunt, Deborah Williams. Abram is survived by his mother, Merry Dae Williams of Mena; his grandmother, Lois Williams in Mena; his father, Clifton Abernathy; his sister, Ariel Varner of Mena and his nieces, Soni and Daisy; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
