Acka was born September 6, 1935, to Brame and Hazel Lewis in Rose Hill, MS. She was married to Rev. Lee Dolloff on October 2, 1959. They were married for 43 years.
She began her life's work with the World Global Missions. After becoming a paster's wife, she served in many capacities of the Methodist and United Methodist Churches. In her later years, she served as Director of Moore Career College and Antonelli College. After her retirement, she was very active and served on many committees in the Hazelhurst United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lee Dolloff, and sister, Azaline McCready.
Acka is survived by her two daughters, Lisa French (Bill) and Marce Dilly (Keith). Also, six grandchildren, Brian Dilly (Deidra), Chris French (Megan), Mary Lauren Dilly, Kimberly Hukill (Josh), Beau French (Kaite), and Trey Dilly (Allyn), and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Aimée Wise along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Hazlehurst Methodist Church with a service to follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Hazlehurst Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
