Ada Wagner Kidd, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at The Homestead. A native of Washington County, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lorena Ulmer Wagner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Seaton "Bill" Kidd, who died in 2009; one grandson, Zachary Alan Gibbs; three brothers; and one sister. Ada was a member of Hazelwood Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed making crafts and quilts. She is survived by her six children; Larry Kidd and his wife, Shirley, of Hendersonville, Alan Kidd and his wife, Evelyn, of Church Hill, Tennessee, Carolyn Boyd and her husband, James, of Waynesville, Ronald Kidd and his wife, Dorothy, of Waynesville, Ginny Gibbs and her husband, Jamey, of Clyde, and Patti Sellars and her husband, Joseph, of Clyde; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Hazelwood Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Patrick Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Hazelwood Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 67, Hazelwood, NC 28738 or to Meals on Wheels, 157 Paragon Parkway, Suite 300, Clyde, NC 28721.
