Ada Marie Stamper

Ada Marie Stamper, 81 passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 15, 1944 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Clyde and Betty (Howard) Jamison. On December 29, 1962 she married the love of her life Carl Stamper who preceded her in death on July 31, 2019. She was an amazing homemaker, wife, Mother and grandmother, who enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends. She always looked forward to chatting daily to each of her siblings and birthday and holiday get togethers. She enjoyed cooking for her family and fall Sundays watching her Ohio State and Bengals football!

Ada is proceeded in death by her husband Carl Dean Stamper and great grandson Zander Gibson. She is survived by her three children Deana (Russell) Cross of Winchester Ohio, Diana (Lofty) Maxwell of Seaman Ohio, Troy (Shay) Stamper of Williamsburg Ohio. Nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. One brother Tommy Jamison of Hillsboro Ohio and Six sisters Melva Jones of Lake Waynoka Ohio, Faye Bennington and Jane Smith of Hillsboro Ohio, Kay (Ronnie) Windle Of Dayton Ohio, Rita Morgensen of Piketon Ohio, Carol (John) Young of Dayton Ohio. And several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Marilyn Roades officiating. Burial will follow in Moores Chapel Cemetery in Blue Creek, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
