Adalynn Mae Sadler aka “Addie”, age 2, of Haughton, Louisiana, entered safely into the Lord’s arms on May 5, 2025. She was born on March 4, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents, James Lee Sadler and Kara Denise Hanning.
Adalynn was preceded in death by her father, James Lee Sadler; Jack Hanning (Great Pop-Pop); Grandma Hanning; great-great grandparents, Charlotte and Laroy Jacquet; Leroy Sadler (PawPaw), Judy Sadler (Granny); and aunt, Joni. Left to cherish her memory include her mother, Kara Denise Hanning; aunt, Caitlin Hanning (Ro-Ro); grandparents, John Hanning (PopPop) and Lisa Hanning (Oma); great-grandparents, Denise Eckenrod (GiGi), Bubba Eckenrod (G-Pop), and Kathleen Hanning (Nana); great aunts and uncle, Kristy Hanning, Katie Williams, Mitch Hanning, and Stacey Timms; 2nd cousins, Morgan McCarty, Madison Sanders, Mitchell Garrett Hanning, Hunter Williams, Tiffany Williams, John John, and Aaron; and cousin, Jack Jack.
A Rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. with a visitation to follow from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2025, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118. Funeral services honoring the precious life of Adalynn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, located at Sacred Hearts Catholic Church, 4736 Lyba St, Shreveport, LA 71109 with Fr. Raney Johnson to officiate. Honoring Adalynn as pallbearers will be John Hanning, Mitch Hanning, Mitchell Garrett Hanning, and Hunter Williams. Burial will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71109.
