Adam Crilly Obituary

Adam Thomas Crilly 1971- 2025 Adam Thomas Crilly, 53, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died on April 11, 2025, in Cheyenne. He was born on May 13, 1971, in Union, New Jersey.

Adam was an accomplished Emergency Medicine Physician for 22 years, most recently at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center where he worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician, Medical Director of the Emergency Department, and Regional Medical Director for Aligned Providers.

For 15 years prior, Adam worked for Mountain Emergency Physicians, during which time he also served as President. He was awarded for his decade of service to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, North Carolina where he also served on the Board of Trustees, was Medical Director of Emergency Services, and Chief of Staff.

He worked at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Nevada, for four years, as an Emergency Physician and EMS Director.

During his residency training at Jacobi Medical Center, a level one trauma center in the Bronx, New York, Adam was awarded Emergency Medicine Physician of the Year for Outstanding Dedication to the Emergency Department, Teacher and Mentor and Leader to the Staff (Class of 2001).

Adam received his Doctorate in Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 1997.

Adam attended Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1993. He was a Founding Father of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity, and Treasurer of the graduating class of 1993. He played Varsity Football for four years, including team Captain. Earlier, in 1988 he was given the Sportsmanship Award for Football and served as team Captain, while at J.P. Stevens High School in Edison, New Jersey.

Adam was an expert downhill skier, and he loved the bowls and backcountry on a bluebird powder day. He loved offshore fishing with his son and best friend. He adored road cycling with his friends in North Carolina and could be found watching professional cycling events regularly, as well as Premier League Soccer. He was a dedicated sports fan of Liverpool soccer, Yankees baseball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his free time, he was an avid reader who was intensely interested in learning history and geology, loved to travel and spend time with his family, and enjoyed having outdoor adventures.

He is survived by his wife Joyce, and two children, Jack and Caroline as well as his brother Johnny and Sister Karen.

Adam is preceded in death by parents, John Cornell Crilly and Nancy Alice (Wallace) Crilly, and his brother Cornell Crilly.

A viewing will be held at Wiederspahn Radomsky, 1900 E. 19th St, Cheyenne on Tuesday, April 22nd from 10-4.

Services will be held at Calvary Chapel in Cheyenne, 9209 Ridge Road, on Wednesday, April 23rd at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Cheyenne Botanic Gardens and condolence cards can be sent to CRMC, 214 E. 23rd St, Cheyenne, Attn: T. Gering.
