Adam King, age 46 of St. Paul, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 28, 2023.
Adam was born on May 11, 1977, to the parents Frederick and Mollie (Rodriguez) King in San Diego, California. He was a part of the Sioux Nation in North Dakota. Adam was very passionate about his heritage and where he came from. He passed this passion and history onto his children. Adam was an avid fisherman enjoying the outdoors as well as a "Grill Master" with a love for grilling. He was also gifted in woodworking and known for his artistic abilities. Adam will be remembered for the love he had for his children and wife.
Adam is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mollie King; sister, Madeline Hicks and brother, Frederick "Steven" King. Survived by wife, Lisha and their four children, Journey, Malia, Hayley and Elijah; daughter by previous relationship, Angelina Hernandez; sister, Eva King; Jace and Jerden; sister-in-law, Jessica King as well as several other sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm with Funeral service at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S.; Cottage Grove, MN. Burial will take place after the service at Newport Cemetery in Newport, MN with lunch to follow at the funeral home.
