Chad Everett King, age 54, of Wixom, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at University of Michigan Health Sparrow Lansing. Chad was born September 04, 1971 in Alliance, Ohio, the son of Robert and Arlene (Haines) King. He attended Alliance High School.

Chad enjoyed his work as a medical intake specialist; however, his true passion was music of all genres. He wrote and performed all types of music and was known for his talent playing six-string electric guitars. Chad played guitar in a band, Thousand Foot God, with his brother, Bret, while living in Colorado.

Chad was the ultimate foodie and loved sushi and tuna poke’ bowls and all types of sweet pickles. Chad enjoyed movies of all genres, with Godzilla films as a favorite. Chad especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Chad was preceded in death by his father, Robert King; and one brother, Shannon King. He is survived by his mother, Arlene King of Louisville, Ohio; three siblings, Chris King Dye (Michelle) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Lori Miller (David) of Louisville, Ohio, and Bret King of Canon City, Colorado; five nieces and nephews; Heather King, Jennifer Miller, Tiffany Adams, David Miller Jr, and Dorian Dye.

Chad’s loving and generous spirit was exemplified in his final days as he was an organ and tissue donor through Gift of Life.
