Frank Burrell, 77, passed away on Monday, February 2 in his home. Born in Alliance on January 22, 1949, the son of the late Leroy Burrell and Ella (Williams) Stewart. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Nelson of Columbus. Frank was a proud graduate of Alliance High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in French from the University of Mount Union, accomplishments that reflected both his dedication and curiosity about the world. While attending Mount Union, Frank wrestled for the university, demonstrating his discipline, determination, and competitive spirit. He loved playing pool and spending time fishing, finding peace and joy in both competition and quiet reflection. Music was close to his heart. Frank enjoyed singing, whether in the choir or belting out favorites at karaoke, always bringing energy and enthusiasm to the room. A natural communicator, Frank also had a gift for public speaking and was comfortable engaging and inspiring others with his words. Frank also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Cavaliers, cheering them on with passion and pride.
