Douglas Laco Mayle, 45, passed away on Friday, January 30 at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born in Canton, on July 12,1980, the son of Connie (Best) Mayle and the late Alva D. Mayle. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters Susan Heskett, Lisa Berger and an infant brother Baby Mayle. Douglas was a 1998 graduate of GlenOak High school and was employed by Harmon's with many valued friendships made during his employment. Douglas loved the simple pleasures that brought people together. He could often be found playing pool, enjoying a round of golf, or cheering on his beloved New England Patriots and the Cleveland Indians. A true best friend to everyone he met, Douglas had a gift for making people feel seen and valued. His love for music was infectious as he loved to sing, karaoke, and share songs that reflected his vibrant spirit. Douglas loved his family and cherished his sons. He spoke of them with immense pride and love, often calling them the light of his life. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his love was felt deeply. Survived by 2 sons Tanner Mayle, Benjamin Mayle; 2 sisters Lori (Mark) Deitz, Diana (Mike) Kettlewell; brother David (Rachel) Mayle; a very special friend Christine Ingersoll; 2 brother-in-laws Scott Heskett, Don Berger; many nieces and nephews; as well as other loving family members and friends. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 5, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Be Life Church (522 30th St. NW, Canton, OH 44709). A Funeral service will also be held at Be Life Church on Friday, February 6, at 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
