Nancy Lee Anderson, 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 3rd, at Canton Christian Home. Born on October 31st, 1941 in Grafton, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Thomas and Jeanette (Maley) Fury. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Anderson and her beloved son Tom Anderson. Nancy was a woman of deep faith and quiet strength. One of the longest and cherished members of Crystal Park Church, she was a steady presence whose life reflected devotion, kindness, and grace. Nancy had a love for simple, meaningful things. She was especially fond of lighthouses, symbols of hope and guidance that mirrored the way she lived her own life. She also delighted in the music of Elvis Presley, whose songs brought her happiness and fond memories. Survived by son Murray (Tina) Anderson; 5 grandchildren Adam, Nikki, Alyssa, Skylar, Drake; 2 great grandchildren Avery, Harper; special friend and cousin Sharyn; special friend Joy as well as other family members and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Advantage Hospice for their compassionate care, as well as to the entire staff at Canton Christian Home for their kindness, dedication, and support. A funeral service will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home on Monday, February 9th at 12PM with Reverend Justin Jackman officiating. Calling hours will be held from 11 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
