It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adam C. Kling, a beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, and cherished family member and friend. Adam, born to the late Margaret A. Thornton, grandson of Ruth and the late Robert Kelley, touched the lives of many with his warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Adam was a loving brother to Chad (Victoria) Thornton and Ryan (Allyson) Thornton. Beloved uncle to Graham, Sophie, and Mark Thornton. He shared a special bond with his close cousins, Chris and Andrew Ebbing. His relationship with Chasity Freeman was a source of deep joy and companionship, and he cherished the moments they spent together.
Adam was also a beloved nephew to Mike (Joan) Kelley, Bob (Launa) Kelley, the late Kathy (Jeff) Ogle, Barb (Jeff) Reist, Mary Ebbing, Bill Kelly, Patty (Paul) Kirby, Anne (Ralph) Creekmore, and Rose Kelley (the late Michael Douglas). He leaves behind a wide circle of cousins, family members, and friends who held a special place in his heart.
Adam passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the age of 40.
Visitation to celebrate Adam's life will be held on Saturday, November 11th, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Hodapp Funeral Home, located at 60421 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45224. A heartfelt service in his honor will follow from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
Adam will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Spring Grove Cemetery, located at 4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232.
In his time with us, Adam enriched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be cherished, and he will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, in memory of Adam's mom, Margaret Thornton and his aunt, Kathy Ogle.
