Adam Isaiah Linner "Mr. Pants" (27 yrs old) was born in Salt Lake City, UT on March 26, 1996, and left his earthly body surrounded by his family on Feb 1, 2024, due to an unforeseen stroke. He was able to gift others with a chance at life and health through organ and tissue donation receiving his "Walk of Honor" on Feb 3, 2024.
Adam was born into this life with special needs (FG syndrome). He was a perfect person in an imperfect world. While others may have judged him in this life for being different, his differences made it possible for him to live a clean, healthy life freed from most temptations and in the end made it possible to help others who are grateful for the chance to fix a broken part of their health. His disability turned into a superpower ability. So, the next time you see someone who is different than you, know that they are incognito superheroes!
Adam was a giant man that stood 6'5" and was the most loving, caring person. He was silent most the time but that doesn't mean he wasn't listening and much more capable than he was given credit for. He was his mom's protector and his dad's best friend. He was the caboose of the family and the 6th child born to Raymond and Kathleen Linner.
Adam found great enjoyment in the small things in life. A full moon and the stars were something he looked for and was sure to tell you the name of the moon and when the next one was coming. He enjoyed classic rock and classical music along with playing video games with his brother. Smoke, water and fluid motion brought great enjoyment to his days. He was sure to flush the toilet at least 9000 times a day, just because, and enjoyed turning the faucet on throughout the day just to watch the water run. He would gladly be the one to water the lawn as well. If you saw him, you can guarantee he had his trusty keys and shoestrings in tote. He had a remarkable memory and could tell you about the dates for the things he found important in his life. The Chiefs were his team, and he would be so happy to tell you about their victories.
Adam's life was shorter than expected but we all learned to be more patient, loving, gentle and more understanding of people with differences because of him. Adam did not have children, but his legacy will live on through others because of his selfless gift of organ donation.
Adam is survived by his mom (Kathy), and siblings Teresa (Joe), Rachel (Shawn), Joseph, Daniel, 1 niece and 4 nephews along with many extended families. He is proceeded in death by his father (Raymond), brother (Stephen) and nephew (Porter).
The family has chosen to do a private family viewing followed by a service and luncheon.
We are so grateful for the team of angles at the Neuro ICU that took such amazing care of Adam as well as the guidance we received from the Doner Connect team.
We are forever grateful for the impact Adam has left and are so proud that he continues to live on.
As Adam would say,
"I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT!"
In lieu of flowers the family would be so grateful for any financial donations in support of his medical expenses. https://venmo.com/u/Kathy-Linner
