Adam Lee Loper, age 39, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 7, 1986, to Sandra Touchstone and Henry Loper.
On August 31, 2013, Adam married the love of his life, Kirsten Graham Loper, and together they built a beautiful family. Their sons, Barrett (8yo) and Alex (7yo), were the center of his world and his greatest joy.
Adam grew up in Mobile and graduated from Baker High School in 2005. He had an adventurous spirit, an easy grin, and a laugh that lifted every room. He held a deep love for the outdoors and spent many of his happiest days hunting, fishing, and passing those passions on to his boys. He also loved cheering on his children, nieces, and nephew at the ballfield.
Adam is survived by his wife, Kirsten; his sons, Barrett and Alex; his mother, Sandra (Marty) Touchstone; his father, Henry Loper; and his siblings, Wayne (Crystal) Loper, Amanda (Fielder) Lewis, Brett (Chelsea) Smith, Misty (Allen) Pitts, Jake (Rachel) Touchstone, and Devin (Tara) Touchstone. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews along with a large extended family and many friends who will miss him deeply.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert Earl McKinnell Sr. (Cynthia) and Vander (Virginia) Loper.
Adam will be remembered for his unmistakable grin, his gift for making others laugh, his remarkable strength, and his unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in all who knew him-especially in his boys, who proudly carry forward his spirit and his love for the outdoors.
At Adam's request, the following men will serve as pallbearers: Daniel Clark,Mathew Vickey, Matthew Brown, Jeremy Hartley, Justin Scott, Quinton Keator, Ryan Ganey.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at Mobile Educators Credit Union for Barrett and Alex's education.
A visitation for Adam will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10th at 5pm to 7pm and then on Thursday December 11th from 11am to 12pm. A chapel service will follow at 12pm Thursday December 11th.
